Piercings

I was thinking about what a friend said. They were telling me about how people get really odd things done to their bodies. And then he looked at me and asked "Why do you get odd things done?"

I thought of that for awhile and I really couldn't think of a good response. The only thing I could think of was "Yeah... why?" I got my 8 different piercings, all together at different times, because I thought they looked cool. There was never really any important meaning behind it. I use to have snakebites, which is 2 lips piercings, but on opposite sides of each other. I got that pierced 3 times, so literally, I spent almost ... $200 on that, because I did my own the first time.



And then, I got bored of that, And got my web pierced, which was the most oddest thing I have ever gotten done!!! I did it myself. I then took it out because I found out that it can cause major gum damage which can make you need surgery. D:



So now, I am sticking with a vertical labret for now! I love it! :) It doesn't cause gum irritation like a normal lip piercing and it doesn't have the same risks as a normal lip piercing. It also heals WAYYYYY faster and it less painful. I got that done... The Friday before school started. ^.^




Piercings...

They are considered "altering modifications" that are applied to one's body. But I feel that they make people's features more defined! :D

OH! I also have my ears pierced. ^.^
