What I learned: I learned that I'm not destined to work with any form of video.
What I want to learn: I want to learn how to plan things out to fit in with school...

What made me happy: I'm finishing this blog.
What made me sad: I have NO time to film because of the musical and I don't know that to do.

I like how interesting this girl's personality is in front of a camera. The camera shots are very simple but work well in the how-to video. :)

Math makes Magic

1. I didn't know that it;s best to have a strong math background. 2. I didn't know that Pixar was so heavily concerned about maths and codes when creating animations. 3. I didn't know that so much pre-planning was important.

1. I liked how thorough the explanation of needed math was. 2. I liked how the article discussed the importance of math.

1. Can a person still become an animator WITHOUT a strong math background?

V-Logs

1. I didn't know that companies buy people's v-logs. 2. I didn't know that making a good v-log doesn't involve a good editing software. 3. I didn't know that you don't have to be seen to have an interesting v-log!

1. I thought a lot of it was simple understanding. 2. I like how successful v-loggers got to put in their input.

1. Why are v-logs so popular?

What made me happy: I finished my blogs.

What made me sad: I wasn't in BOCES on Friday. :<

What I learned: I can now have a twin!

I liked how this was done. I like how fluent it was. What I thought was really cool was how the skateboard was a person with added in sound effects.

Indian VFX Artists

1. I didn't know that sweat shops were happening even in the movie industries. 2. I didn't know that artists were being exploited. 3. I didn't know that other country artists were risking their lives to follow their passion.

1. I liked how the writer explained the other side of the story. 2. I enjoyed the shared information about the VFX industry in other places.

1. Why are companies being greedy?

1. I didn't know that a lot of VFX studios were facing cut backs and many job losses. 2. I didn't know that a lot of the artists were not receiving credit for their hard work. 3. I didn't know that VFX studios were filing for bankruptcy due to the lack of income.

1. I thought this was very informative behind VFX situations that were happening off screen. 2. I liked how it discussed the lack of recognition towards all of the artists.

1. Why is there barely any recognition for VFX people?

What made me happy: I handed in work on time... TWICE!

What made me sad: I missed a day of school.

What I learned: I learned how to do picture stills. I found it really simple.

What I want to learn: I want to learn how to make it look like a person is running through a wall. I also would like to learn how to make twins. :P

I like the style of it. I also thought that the style was very interesting and well thought out, same with the actual story too. All of the animation was nicely executed as well.

Film Tips!

1. I didn't know that incorporating your own emotions into your work would be beneficial for the artist and the audience. 2. I didn't know that a person can animate feelings. 3. I didn't know that a person should have a lot of fun while working. 

1. I like how simple the tips were to follow. 2. I thought that the tips were very unique. 

1. How could an animator reach their goals without feeling as if they are reaching to high?
